SEPTEMBER DRAG RACING CLINIC....
The last drag racing clinic of the season was well-attended by 37 drivers and approximately another 30 spectators. With the sun setting slightly earlier than 8pm, September 12 was the last event for 2007. Winner of the eliminations was Sam Bunch in his 1998 Trans Am,and runner-up was Jules O'Connor in her 2006 Daytona Charger.
A "Thank You" card was passed around for all to sign and will be presented to Rick Chrysler along with a restaurant gift card from MVDRA, to thank him for letting us present the clinics throughout the spring and summer. If YOU didn't get to volunteer your time to help this year, make it a point NOW to do so in 2008. The attendees really appreciate our efforts.
Thanks to MVDRA members who worked the September clinic: Roy Hess, Gary and Patty Steiner, Rick Nelson, Bob Manker, Pat and Ben and Jake Browder, Dennis and Bev Sturgill, Rick Sprauer, Lisa Burba, Ralph Bray, Steve Stickle, and Amber McIlvain. Thanks to the Sturgills for providing hot dogs, buns, and chips, and thanks to Bev's mom Faye for her homemade cookies, even though she couldn't be there!

Date for 2008 MVDRA Annual Party has been confirmed: Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Fairborn Moose--ask members if they have suggestions/ ideas for party? for band? for food?
